Hard to believe December is almost upon us as this crazy year comes to an end. Having said that, this brings us to today’s topic of awareness…. Seems so simple and yet we are sometimes oblivious to its meaning. Of course we are aware, we’re alive right? Well, it’s a little bit more than that friends. It’s similar to our health regarding the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects. We need awareness in all those areas in order to fully experience this great life of ours. Can you say you are fully aware? Energy is in everything and is everywhere so all around our awareness creates our experiences. It’s our environment, surroundings, people we hang with, places we go, and things we have.
It all influences us with what we bring to the table so to speak. If you bring negativity, you’ll get that. If you bring positivity, you’ll get that. The awareness is also about ourselves with body, mind, and spirit. The fuel you give to those three encompasses energy of your awareness. It’s all of your thoughts, feelings, words, and actions as well. That’s why when we meditate or pray, conditions should be favorable. You don’t need to be all Zen or Buddha-like but bring in some good vibes to prepare yourself for your time alone. Sure, you can send up good thoughts or prayers anytime but when you truly want to concentrate, bring in calming ideas. I have mentioned if we truly need those spiritual “tools” but if it is always guided by good intention, use what works for you.
Am sure you are aware of good activities that bring joy versus those that don’t. Sometimes, we aren’t left with choices at times but then we can come back to ourselves later on. Those triggers will always be there but it’s how we handle them that matters most. I struggle with this concept daily as am sure most of you do too. It is tough staying positive all the time when things are a mess for longer than we want them to be. That’s why it’s super important to stay grounded in our awareness which will help your energy remain uplifted. We have to find good in the bad so we can continue evolving on this journey. This time in our lives is especially important considering what is going on in the world. I can’t find your positives, only you can but just know we are all fighting together.
Whatever you do, can you bring some awareness to your space? Even if it’s a simple task like life skills which can seem mundane. We remind others to stay safe when they go out and our kids to be aware of strangers but what about all the other things in life? If you’re upset, it’s ok to feel that way. If you’re happy, appreciate that feeling and strive for more everyday. Your emotions count but just don’t become them. Appreciate your awareness wherever you are and just take it all in. What you put out comes back so be conscious how that affects you and others. It’s not a hard concept really and one that isn’t much to cultivate for your life. You don’t even need to be in a crowded space or somewhere big to be aware. I’m just sitting in my living room with this laptop noticing the Christmas decorations and animals sleeping. Just concentrate on what you are doing right now in the present moment and the energy of awareness brought in. Take notice of how your body feels, the emotions you experience, the vibes around, and any others that resonate with you. People will affect you differently of course but you need to be the one to rise above a bad awareness while bringing in the good. Such a task but one I know you are up for. Just send them healing light if you can or imagine the color pink for love. If this is too complicated, just picture yourself doing something joyful or change a negative subject.
We will all have trying times with people, places, and things but bringing awareness into what we go through will enable us to dissect our feelings around it all. Imagine yourself protected by a giant bubble of light with your guides always there with you. Visualization can be tricky but with practice, you’ll find easier images that will come to your mind’s eye. Your aura magnetic field is different from anyone else’s and it’s up to you to keep it safe and well. It will get disturbed but bringing it back to still awareness is the key. Just make a list of appreciating all that you have with gratitude and your awareness techniques will work with the Universe. It can be any little thing and then work your way up to the biggies. Your life is the most important so don’t forget that. You can even journal ideas down and read them aloud to yourself. I love doing this as it works wonders talking to myself! Don’t underestimate that ever. It is a game-changer friends and writing will help you remember. I just want you to feel empowered to be in control even when you don’t feel like you are. The Universe is always with you so ask for help with awareness if you are having trouble.
It doesn’t need to be like you’re walking on eggshells or a deer in the headlights but just go with whatever feels right for you. That’s what it’s all about anyways. Do your life and it will work for you. So, friends– have you been able to bring awareness with rightful energy into your space? I hope if you haven’t paid attention before, you will now. It will settle your emotions and bring more gratitude into your life. Becoming aware seems like such a simple thing to do and yet we make it like it’s impossible with our busy schedules. Maybe you’re spending too much time on one thing and not enough time on another? Jot down what needs more awareness and give that gift to yourself. You are the only one who can make these choices so start now. I do hope you will…
