Did you know there are those Archangels that will assist you? Yes, they are available spirit friends if you ask and invoke them. Today’s post will explore the major ones and list some qualities of each. I do hope this will serve you on your own spiritual journey as another way to feel guided and supported by the Universe. You might even know a couple by name as a few are mentioned more often than others.  You can work with them as often as you’d like as they are not just needed in troubled times or life and death situations. Here they are:

Michael~~~ represents the element of fire and his color is blue. He is known as the defender in battle, aids in protection, a warrior, oversees the guardian angels and is the most well known. Call on him when you have important decisions to make but also need to face your fears. Anytime you need assistance in trying something new or different, ask him. When invoking, use the direction of the South.

Gabriel~~~ represents the element of water and his color is a light blue. He is known as the messenger angel, (think giving Mary the message about Jesus in the Bible) works with authors and teachers, (yea!) He is second to Michael and works with your emotions. Can boost your confidence and decrease anxiety. When invoking, use the direction of the West.

Raphael~~~ represents the element of air and his color is green. He is known for healing of the body, mind, and spirit. He can boost your creativity and inspiration. You can breathe in his energy to keep you focused. When invoking, use the direction of the East.

Uriel~~~ represents the element of earth and his color is a golden hue. He is known to keep you grounded or centered and is a multi-tasker. He can bring warnings or premonitions but is also the patron of music. When invoking, use the direction of the North. Some also have said Uriel to be a she so I believe it is your own interpretation. 

Those are the basic four just like our psychic clairs! There are a few others that many invoke such as Metatron who is the link between Heaven and Earth. He keeps you aligned on your true path. Also, he can assist on releasing things that no longer serve you. He is connected to your heart center and when invoking, think above like Heavenward. Another to work with is Sandalphon who is also represented as Uriel with earth but think beneath. No, not that FAR! How about roots that keep you steady and extending underneath your physical body. When invoking, think below…

Sonia Choquette mentions a few others in her book: Ask Your Guides which I’ve mentioned before. They are: Raguel who is like a police officer and keeps all things aligned. Sariel keeps things in their right places and is organized so think like a housekeeper of sorts. Kinda helps clean up messes! (spiritual and physical…) Last, there’s Remiel who is the angel of hope. He is the transition angel who greets us when we pass. He brings that peace to the dying and releases all our fears of death.

She even has chants listed to invoke each angel with breathwork. It can become very powerful if you allow it. Remember consistency and practice is always the key to anything you’d like to incorporate into your life. Always also use such practices with good intentions since the Universe will tell if you mean it or not! I still know the Angel of God prayer that I learned as a child… The Archangels are in charge of all the other angels that can and will guide us. Of course, the Creator however you envision one, is in charge of ALL. I must say that this is a TON of info and some of it can be overwhelming. You may never see their auras (remember last week?) or even hear them but perhaps you FEEL their presence instead. Write down what you experience and work with those thoughts. Another beautiful spiritual teacher is Melanie Beckler who I have referenced also with this post. She works extensively with the Angelic Realm and has many Youtube videos on all these angels and more.

When learning about some, I must admit it was A LOT for me to absorb even though I was always taught to believe. Now that I know more, I have done more with them. I’m still confused literally as some don’t seem to “match” with colors or chakras that seemed conflicting! It’s all your perception so just know your feelings count the most. Everything and everyone– including celestial beings connect to Source. (or God, Creator, Divine Light or whatever your term) Whoever you invoke, just make it genuine so you will be acknowledged and heard. The Universe will connect in the best way possible for you so please be patient with anything you try spiritually. Don’t expect it all to line up a certain way and remember to state your intention first. They all do like to be recognized.

Maybe a certain Archangel will connect with you the best depending on your circumstance or life situations. Also, the nature elements work well with your signs so for me being Virgo, I am EARTH= Uriel. Not every aspect needs to be exactly what you’d like to be guided on but just try a few. I am in the process of doing several Angel Invocations of Melanie’s and boy have I felt their beautiful light around me. I had my arms outstretched and could actually visualize golden light extending from my arms. It was quite a powerful experience and I need this. It connected to past lives and releasing those old beliefs.
