Do you work on Self-Love Spirit friends? I did a post on that exclusively but today’s is more about working on the inner part of your being FIRST before you tackle the outer. Yes, we do need to take care of ourselves before we can be of any help to others but today I am focusing more on doing that inner work and then we’ll see external results. What do I mean? Well, I’ll explain…
Despite what is always happening in the global world around us, we must never neglect our practices however they are to you. For some, it can just be to BREATHE more, for others it can involve more of a deeper time working on specific areas. You will know yours but if you don’t~~~ try anything that fits your mood. The inner part of us is all about emotions, feelings, the balance of our head, heart, and gut, and finding time to get centered. I am always mentioning tons of ways you can incorporate any type of alone “ME” time into your day but it doesn’t have to be complicated at all. Even just taking a 15 minute shower without being rushed is your contribution for the day. The next time, it might expand into a longer meditation with divination techniques or listening to music. It’s all your choice friends but just make it worth your time.
There will be challenges everywhere around us throughout our entire lives but again~~ it’s how you face them that matters most. You need that break and time for you. The schedules can be crazy and we can be doing a billion things but take that time out because you need it, not because you just want it. In order to be physically strong, we need to be become mentally strong first and that will come with consistent practices and time. You will notice that difference with how your day goes, how you make decisions, your reaction time to those decisions, and more. Maybe it won’t happen at first but it will happen if you allow it with patience. Be YOU and do YOU in spite of the world or your little neck of it. The morning begins our day but some may not choose to start with a practice and then it comes later or in the evening. For me, I choose that morning because I haven’t faced any drama or conflicts yet and can fully just be without distractions. It is worth it to me waking up just a little earlier just like it would be to workout or anything else you choose to do before your day truly begins.
The internal doesn’t necessarily mean your systems inside but is all connected with our bodies and chakras. I have written plenty on that! A lot of chronic pain, ailments, disease, and other afflictions can be healed if we learn to calm and use the right techniques. No, I am not dismissing medical care of any kind but there is scientific proof out there of many cases with people being cured of problems simply by taking better care of themselves. This isn’t just about exercising, eating right, or changing all that but it involves many other issues as well. Some aren’t into meditating or praying but you might be doing those without even really thinking about it at all. If your intentions are genuinely backed with belief, the Universe hears you and will respond. Again, it doesn’t have to spiritual in nature at all! Get out into real nature and you might experience a new feeling. Walking, biking, hiking, swimming, hugging a tree ( or just looking up at them) can be beneficial to one’s mental health. We need to start there friends before moving on to more. People forget about the simple easy things we can all do before it gets too involved.
What are some challenges you face that make it hard to get motivated on the inner you? Ask yourself that question and write down some possible reasons. Then, try answering them in a positive productive way. Start small with your list and make it doable. Try tackling them slowly at first until you feel more confident moving forward. If you can do little ones, you can do bigger ones! Put something together for a week and before too long, you’ll have a month’s worth. It may look something like this:
Today, I will meditate for 10 minutes without distractions. Tomorrow, I will wake up early and take a short walk around my block. The next day, I will read a chapter in that great book my friend gave me. ~~~ After those days, you can lengthen each one just a little before expanding on more challenging issues. Really try friends since I know you can! Your list is yours and the ideas will come if you take the time to make that list. If it’s written down, it’ll be easier to tackle instead of random ideas in your head taking up valuable space. You need that space for other things so come on and make that time for the inner you. Then, you will be ready to face others, the world, and all the problems that come up for you. Notice how I said WILL and not TRY for each one. The will takes you there since try means maybe not. If it does seem too complex, you can add try but possibly just for one. See how it works and how you feel and then move forward.
Well, Spirit friends this is a short post today as I have an errand to run but truly work on the inner you and then your outer world won’t seem so intimidating and will become more fluid over time. It is a marathon here, not a sprint. You CAN do it and make those lists of your own challenges! It does matter and so do you…..
