Much of one’s spiritual development involves many different signs or symbols. I am going to help you figure out what all those might mean for you while explaining their significance. It’s nothing too complicated and really just involves lots of patience and common sense. As with anything in life, we always have to look at the situation from our own point of view and figure out what is relevant to us. The Universe is about the unexpected filled with variation so it is up to you to connect these occurrences to the life you are living. People might shy away from spirituality because it concerns many opposites and is difficult for a logical mind. Some signs can be obvious while some are subtle, some can be traditional while others are not even common. If you are serious with your beliefs then these opposites won’t bother you at all.
I list many in my book Spirit and Belief but anyone can look up information to decide for themselves which signs or symbols best fit with their journey. I stated in my book that one sign is a coincidence but two or more are synchronicities which means they are in sync with your path. Once you connect them to your thoughts, believe it is the direction for your life. Some common things to watch out for could be finding nature treasures like feathers or flowers, seeing words in print about the same topic over and over again which makes you wonder, people complimenting you and what you are very good at doing but you might not think so, finding coins, hearing certain songs that popped in your head for no reason, and many others. Always remember to go with what you feel and get rid of the logic sometimes. Once you place your trust in that thought, more signs or symbols will come your way and you will know they are meant to be.
Here is a list of questions to ask if you are wondering about symbols and what they could mean:
If you can answer some of those questions that make sense to you, line it up! Maybe you are drawn to a specific symbol or would like to see it to help in your growth. All you need to do is ask the Universe in any way that works for you. I did based on another woman’s experience and I got my blue jay feather which is why it is depicted on the cover of my book! I realize with many of you that this can be quite the challenge but your attitude makes all the difference. Try not to become frustrated and once your intention is out there~~~let it go!!! Try to forget about it for a bit if you can since it could take a few days for your sign to appear somewhere. Don’t give up since the Universe teaches us patience. Try also to get rid of perhaps a traditional way of seeing your sign since it might not manifest that way for you. If you really want a rose but it’s winter and one might not be growing where you are, think differently. Possibly you might be in a store and see some silk roses placed right where you could find them easily. Could that be your sign if you think hard enough~~~YES!!! Don’t dismiss the little stuff just because it isn’t the way we planned. Spirits will help you but it is sometimes can become a new way of thinking to expand your viewpoint.
I was stuck on some traditional signs too of course but then started getting toads and even batteries! Hard to believe I know but without a doubt they so connected for me and I put aside my way to embrace a new way. Also try not to be so obsessed with finding something since that isn’t healthy and will just make you upset. Spontaneity is so fun and still catches me off guard! It is about patience and trust that will lead you to be open and receptive. When in doubt, just ask and see what happens. Sometimes though, a flower is just a flower or a bird is just a bird. Something significant needs to happen or out of the ordinary for you to connect. You can explore lots of symbols but it is easier to focus on one as to not make it too confusing for your development. Once you become more comfortable, the signs may vary some like they have for me but I know my main ones—especially when it came to Warrior!
If you are interested in finding out more, my book explains all about the signs and symbols and how they along with the Universe helped me have trust and believe. Warrior was a tremendous influence on me and I am forever grateful for his guidance. Ask those questions which will help you along your spiritual path and have some fun exploring what your symbols are trying to show you. There are no coincidences—- everything does happen for a reason!
